Hair volume is determined by three factors
Almost all hair problems show up as a change in one or any combination of these three factors
Hairs Per Centimetre
Research has estimated that the average person has between 100,000 to 150,000 hairs on their head. That works out at about 124 to 200 hairs per square centimetre.
Hair Follicles
The anagen phase (growing phase) can last from two years to eight years. This phase generally refers to about 85% to 90% of the hair on your head.
Hair Thickness
Those with thin hair might have about 80,000 fibers on their head, and an individual with thick hair will have about 150,000 fibers.
